WHAT TO BRING:

FOOD

* Bring your dogs’ own food – any type (there is a fridge and freezer available for storage of wet/specialty foods)

* Bring any kind of treats/chews/toys (excluding rawhides as they pose choking and digestion hazards!) Treats will be given with meals.

* We feed twice a day – 7am and 7pm. Feeding times can be adjusted for puppies or dogs on certain medications. If you have a special feeding request, please speak to us – we want to do what is best for every dog!

* Please bring enough food to last your dog his/her entire stay. (Bringing alittle extra is always a good idea, just in case your plans change and your dog needs to stay a little longer)

* We will go over your dog’s specific feeding  instructions with you at check-in – it is not necessary to provide written instructions.

* We have food and water bowls for your dog’s use. If you have a special bowl (slow feeder or stand bowl) feel free to bring it for your dog.

MEDICATIONS

Medications will be given at no additional charge. Please bring your dog’s medications in their original bottles, making sure that you have included enough for the entirety of their stay. We will cover the medication instructions at check-in.

OPTIONAL ITEMS

BEDDING AND TOYS

Each suite includes a raised Kuranda bed that is appropriate to the size of the dog/dogs and suite. You are welcome to bring your dogs’ own bedding as well. We simply ask that the bedding be washable with removable covers. You may also bring your dog’s own toys to have with them in their suites. Please do not bring rawhide chews or  items that are easily destroyed or eaten!

We also recommend that you bring something that smells like “home” – either an article of clothing (an old tee shirt) or a blanket or something that your dog can sleep with in his suite, to help him feel more comfortable during his stay. This is particularly important if your dog has not boarded before, if he/she is a puppy or  is a nervous or shy dog.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be compliant with state health regulations, the following items MUST be adhered to by all of our clients!

All dogs must be current on distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccinations.

Dogs must be on a heartworm and flea preventative. If your dog is found to have fleas, we will administer a flea bath and you will be charged.

Dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.

Puppies must have had their second distemper booster and rabies by 16 weeks.

PAYMENT AND PICK-UP

Payment is due for all services rendered at the time of pick-up.  Check out is before noon of the last day

of your dog’s stay. If you need to pick up your dog after noon, you will be subject to a daycare fee for that day (excluding those clients who have a boarding package). Please ask us if you have questions.
